Empowered Future Africa (EFA) is an education-focused organisation working to create better opportunities for children in underserved communities. Through research, education and community action, we help children learn, grow, participate and reach their potential, starting in Nigeria with a vision for wider impact across Africa.

We focus on children whose educational opportunities are shaped by unequal access to resources, supportive environments and opportunities to participate.

Resource-Constrained & Rural Learners

Children in under-resourced communities attending schools with inadequate infrastructure, or no basic learning materials.

Out-of-School Children

Vulnerable children who have lost access to formal education and lack foundational literacy and numeracy skills.

Girls & Marginalized Groups

Female learners facing socio-cultural and economic barriers that impede school attendance and completion.

Digitally Excluded Schools

Educational institutions lacking trained educators, digital tools, and modern curriculum resources needed for today’s economy.
